The Cleveland Cavaliers surprise many in the basketball world, picking power forward Anthony Bennett with the top overall pick in the 2013 NBA Draft. At 6’8″, 240 lbs, Bennett rose up draft boards in recent weeks. He is a forward who can flat-out score, at any level. The Cavaliers, should they keep Bennett, will put him alongside Anderson Varejao down low. Many have compared Anthony to another UNLV product, Larry Johnson. This move doesn’t bode well for PF Tristan Thompson, the Cavs’ 2012 lottery pick.
