Could ‘Uncle Drew’ soon be alley-ooping to another Drew? The Cleveland Cavaliers have officially trumped any other offers on the market for free agent center Andrew Bynum. Multiple media outlets are reporting that Cleveland has offered the former Laker center a two-year contract worth $24 million. He was in town for a face-to-face meeting with Cavs management. The deal undoubtedly includes major incentives/clauses that pertain to games missed due to injury (more specifically, his knee). Even so, an offer like this is considerably more than what the Dallas Mavericks may offer. They likely only are interested in going out one year and at a lower number. Andrew will now move onto to Atlanta and Dallas for more meetings. He should make a decision by the end of the week. THE ‘DREW’ FRO IS HEADED TO CLEVELAND After talking to the Mavericks and Hawks, Andrew Bynum ultimately decided that Cleveland’s offer was the best he was going to get. According to Yahoo Sports, $6 million of the $12 million in year one of his deal with be guaranteed. In the end, even the questionable knees of ’Drew’ are worth millions…no questions asked.
