According to Chad Ford at ESPN, the Cleveland Cavaliers, Charlotte Bobcats and Dallas Mavericks all reportedly have interest in trading for Sacramento ‘bigman’ DeMarcus Cousins. That is, only, if the new ownership of the Kings decides to part ways with their most talented player. Charlotte is motivated to stop their perpetual re-build. They’d likely be willing to offer the No. 4 pick for DeMarcus. For Dallas, Cousins would be ‘Plan C’ if they are unable to sign either Chris Paul or Dwight Howard in free agency. DeMarcus is entering the final season of his rookie contract. He’ll be a restricted free agent in 2014.
